J. J. Johnson Baptist Assembly

The J. J. JOHNSON BAPTIST ASSEMBLY (located in Laurel Hill, NC) was established in 1967 resulting from a gift of land from the late Dr. and Mrs. Joy J. Johnson to create a recreational and retreat facility for the Baptist family in North Carolina.
Alston Lodge is named for the first Executive Secretary-Treasurer of the Woman’s Baptist Home and Foreign Missionary Convention of North Carolina who served from 1946 to 1967.
